after contact: support for parents when the visit ends

The time after a contact visit can be emotionally complex for both children and parents, and often carries more weight than the visit itself. Children may need space to settle, process, or recalibrate, while parents can find themselves managing a mix of relief, worry, sadness, or uncertainty.

The blog posts in this section are written to support parents through that post-visit period, offering child-focused reflections  and how to hold your own reactions with steadiness.
