This is Jakki.

Jakki is our Service Manager, and one of her superpowers is picking the right contact worker for you.

She takes time to think about what kind of person you might feel most comfortable with someone kind, friendly, and easy to talk to. She’s met all of our workers, and she knows just who you’re going to like.

Before your first visit, you’ll get something special: a message from you contact worker .It’s a page all about the worker who will be with you during visits. It has their photo, a few fun facts about them, and even what they like doing in their spare time. That way, you can get to know a little bit about them before you even say hello.

When it’s time to meet your contact worker for the first at what grown ups call a child familiarisation session, you won’t be alone. You’ll come with someone from your family to a place where everyone can feel relaxed. Your worker will be there with a big smile, ready to chat and help you feel at ease.

You can ask them as many questions as you like and maybe even play a game or two!

They’ll explain how visits work, what to expect, and most importantly they’ll remind you that it’s okay to take your time.

Meeting someone new can feel like a big thing. But your contact worker is here to help make visits feel calm, safe, and maybe even fun.
