Great question!

There are lots of things you can bring to help your visit feel fun, comfy, and just right for you. Here are some ideas:

🧃 Your favourite snacks and water bottle

It’s a good idea to pack something yummy you enjoy and make sure you stay hydrated. Especially if you’ll be running around or playing.

🎲 A game or toy you love

You can bring something fun to play with. Maybe a board game, a puzzle, or even a favourite toy or plush friend.

📸 Something to show the parent you're having the visit with

Maybe you’ve drawn a picture, got a new toy, or want to tell a story about something that happened. Bring it along!

🧥 A jumper or jacket

Even on warm days, it can sometimes get chilly. Especially in the afternoon or if you’re indoors with air-con.

👕 A change of clothes

Just in case something spills or you get messy while playing. It’s always good to have a backup!

🧢 A hat and sunscreen

If your visit is at a park or outside, don’t forget to protect yourself from the sun.

🧸 Something to hold if you feel nervous

A soft toy, a smooth stone, or even a small keyring from home. Anything that helps you feel calm and safe.

You don’t need to bring everything, just the things that help you feel ready and comfortable. If you’re not sure what to pack, ask your contact worker or your parent who is going to help you get ready. They’ll be happy to help.

Most of all, just bring you. That’s what matters most. 💛
